Smyrna Police Department hosting training sessions

SMYRNA — The Smyrna Police Department will host “Blue to Gold” training sessions for law enforcement officers in October.

The opening session Oct. 8 covers advanced searches and seizures, followed by advanced traffic stops Oct. 9 and report writing Oct. 10, the department said.

Sessions run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the department, 325 W. Glenwood Ave. The cost is $225 per individual session or $495 for all three.
