DOVER — Two Dover males ages 18 and 17 were arrested in connection with a shooting incident on July 28, police said Tuesday.
Police said Eugene Johnson and the 17-year-old male were both charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a deadly weapon/ammunition by a person prohibited (two counts), first-degree reckless endangering (two counts), second-degree conspiracy and criminal mischief under $1,000.
The 17-year-old was taken into custody without incident and committed to Vision Quest on $5,500 secured bail, police said.
Mr. Johnson was being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on separate charges and remained at the facility after arraignment.
The arrests were made in connection with a shooting incident in the area of South Kirkwood and West Division streets. No injuries occurred, police said.
