GREENWOOD — A 39-year-old Greenwood man was arrested in connection with theft of copper wire from irrigation systems in Kent and Sussex counties, Delaware State Police said.
Police said Michael Plummer was arrested Friday for alleged incidents between April 12 and August 16. According to police, they occurred in the Bridgeville, Greenwood and Houston areas.
Another person was arrested in the case earlier, authorities said.
Mr. Plummer was charged with theft over $1,500 where the victim is over 62 (four counts), theft over $1,500 (four counts), criminal mischief over $5,000 (eight counts), second-degree conspiracy (four counts), theft under $1,500, criminal mischief under $1,000 (two counts) and third-degree criminal trespass (10 counts).
Mr. Plummer was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on $21,600 unsecured bond.
