Appoquinimink Foundation’s golf fundraiser is Oct. 25 in Townsend

TOWNSEND — The Appoquinimink Foundation is planning its annual golf fundraiser for Oct. 25.

The event will be held at Odessa National Golf Club, beginning with check-in and breakfast at 9 a.m. A shotgun start is set for 10, with a long-putt contest at 11. Lunch and awards are scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

The cost is $200 for a single golfer and $500 for a foursome. A foursome plus a hole sponsorship is $650.

According to the foundation, proceeds will support the students, educators and community of the Appoquinimink School District.

Odessa National is at 1131 Fieldsboro Road.
