Band competition coming to Odessa High on Sept. 21
By TOWNSEND — The Sounds of Champions band competition will be held on Sept. 21 at Odessa High.
The Appoquinimk School District said bands across Delaware and Maryland will compete and “The show boasts great music, costumes, color, choreography, and showmanship. It’s an incomparable experience for students, fans and spectators.”
The district said Zeswitz Music and the Odessa Fine Arts Boosters are hosting the event at 510 Tony Marchio Drive.
Gates at the school’s Ducks Stadium open at 3 p.m. and the first performance is at 4 p.m., the district said
