MILFORD — A bomb threat made to the Walmart on North Dupont Boulevard on Thursday is under investigation, Milford police spokesman Sgt. Robert Masten said.
According to Sgt. Masten, officers responded to the store at approximately 5:26 p.m. following the threat. Upon arrival, the building was cleared of all staff and customers. With the assistance of multiple agencies and their K-9s, the building was deemed safe, authorities said.
MPD was assisted by the Carlisle Fire Co., Delaware Capitol police, Delaware State Police, University of Delaware police, the U.S. Air Force, Wilmington police and Newark police.
