MILTON — The deadline to turn in completed Coastal Adventure Passport has been extended to Sunday, July 31.
The Coastal Adventure Passport can be picked up at the Horseshoe Crab & Shorebird Festival on June 19, or any time at The Mercantile in downtown Milton at 109 Union St., Milton.
The Passport will take you to some of Southern Delaware’s most beautiful, natural areas such as Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge, Slaughter Beach and the Mispillion Harbor.
Answer the questions asked in the passport and turn it in to The Mercantile, or to the Milton Chamber of Commerce directly via email at chamber@historicmilton.com by July 31 and entrants will be eligible to win one of several prizes.
The Friends of Prime Hook and DNREC have each provided multiple goodie bags, complete with nature related, outdoorsy essentials.
Other prizes that have been donated include a guided kayak tour courtesy of Quest Kayaks, and gift cards from various local eco-tourism businesses.
Prize winners will be announced at a Milton Chamber event in early August.
