Delaware Botanic Gardens celebrates Veterans Day with free admission for veterans

DAGSBORO — Delaware Botanic Gardens at Pepper Creek announces all veterans with military identification cards will have free admission on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

Guests who bring food donations for Home of the Brave Foundation in Milford will also receive free admission.

The Delaware Botanic Gardens Fall Harvest decorations, including the Woodlands Discovery Trail with sculptures of forest creatures, will remain on display through Nov. 19, Delaware Botanic Gardens closing date.

The Delaware Botanic Gardens, 30220 Piney Neck Road, is open to the public Thursdays – Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., closing for the season at 4 p.m. on Nov. 19. Walk-ins are welcome.

Membership is available at delawaregardens.org/membership.
