Friends of the Milton Public Library host Hispanic Heritage Event

MILTON — The Friends of the Milton Public Library, in collaboration with the Milton Library staff, Charito Calvachi-Mateyko, Dr. Christine Cannon of the Arsht Cannon Fund and the Delaware Hispanic Commission will host the 2023 Hispanic Heritage Event from noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Milton Public Library.

The 2023 Hispanic Heritage Event will serve as a cultural destination for community members of all ages to explore a community of diverse demographics who may not be knowledgeable about each other’s culture with a special focus on the Latino culture.

Highlights include statewide and community organization vendor fair, networking and engagement with representatives from participating organizations, supportive environment, performances by world renowned Dayan Aldana professional singing artist originally from Chiclayo, Peru and the Casa Guanajuato Dance Group, food and prizes.
