TidalHealth Peninsula Regional announces Team Members of the 1st Quarter
SALISBURY — TidalHealth Peninsula Regional honors the following four team members as 1st Quarter 2024 Team Members of the Quarter:
Administrative & Support Services: Cristy Marsh, People Department
Cristy Marsh of the People Department is TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 1st Quarter 2024 Team Member of the Quarter for Administrative and Support Services.
Marsh has been a shining star since joining the People Department in May 2022. She’s always willing to share the load with her team, seamlessly covering tasks and treating her colleagues’ candidates and hiring managers like her own. She readily takes on extra work without being asked and with no expectation of recognition. Leaders across the organization praise her efficiency and ability to recruit top talent, and candidates often remark they’ve never encountered such a supportive and helpful recruiter before!
Megan Wooten of Respiratory is TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 1st Quarter 2024 Team Member of the Quarter for Professional Services.
Wooten goes above and beyond to provide excellent, compassionate care to all her patients. She ensures her patients are comfortable and have everything they need before she leaves that room. She has even been witnessed holding the hand of a patient while they were alone and passing away. Wooten readily helps her coworkers and doesn’t sit down until everyone has completed their workload. She truly cares about what she does and the care she provides everyone.
Nursing Services: Sarah Flakowitz, Mother Baby
Sarah Flakowitz of Mother Baby is a TidalHealth Peninsula Regional 1st Quarter 2024 Team Member of the Quarter for Nursing Services.
Flakowitz exemplifies all the core qualities that our institution values. Not only is she a wonderfully compassionate nurse to parents and their newborns, but she is also a true team player. Flakowitz is one of those nurses who doesn’t wait to be asked to offer help. She has helped feed babies, run blood to the lab, organize charts, and perform other tasks as requested, and does all of this with a smile and a can-do attitude.
Charles Jackson of Same Day Surgery is a TidalHealth Peninsula Regional 1st Quarter 2024 Team Member of the Quarter for Nursing Services.
Jackson is a kind soul who goes above and beyond for his patients. Not only are his IV skills exceptional, but so is his singing voice. He can often be found singing to anxious patients. His calm demeanor and presence have an instant calming effect. Patients consistently recognize Jackson for his clinical excellence and emotional support at their most vulnerable times. When he isn’t busy starting 30-plus IVs, he can be found helping others clean rooms and stretchers.
