Immanuel UMC starts Lenten dinners Feb. 14 with music and a message

CRISFIELD - Free Lenten dinners and a short service begin 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 at Immanuel United Methodist Church Hall, 206 West Main Street.

This month the volunteers with Angel’s Attic are the hosts, with spaghetti and meatballs, salad, bread and choice of pie on the menu the first week. Music will be by the Immanuel Ukulele Band and Jay Tawes will deliver the message.

On Feb. 21 there will be a choice of cream clam chowder or peas and dumplings, grilled cheese, chips and dessert. Singing will be Maria Dorman Maroon, with Pastor Tad Maroon speaking.

On Feb. 28 the menu is chicken and dumplings, potatoes, green beans and assorted desserts. The Rev. Becky McCoy will sing with the message by the Rev. Ken McCoy.

These dinners are eat-in only and free to everyone.
