Posted

CRISFIELD — Janes Island State Park will be holding another free stargazing program Saturday, Jan. 13 starting at 5 p.m.

Visitors will gather at Picnic Shelter 2 to look up into the heavens as we exit a new moon and start a waxing crescent phase. Several telescopes will be available for use.

Those attending are reminded to wear warm clothing and bring a blanket or chair. For more information call the park office at 410-968-1565. The park is located off Jacksonville Road at the end of Alfred J. Lawson Drive.
