Update - Bayhealth announced at 11:15 a.m. that all phone systems had been restored.

DOVER — Bayhealth announced via Facebook on Thursday at around 9:50 a.m. “that all incoming and outgoing landline calls across our health system are not working.

“This is affecting your ability to call any Bayhealth locations.

“Our top priority is care for our patients and we are using our backup emergency systems for communications across our teams and with emergency services personnel.

“At this time, all locations remain open. If you need to reach one of our Bayhealth Medical Group practices or Community Connect practices that use MyChart, please message through the MyChart portal.

“If you are trying to reach a patient in one of our facilities, we ask that you use their cell phone number if available.

“As always, if you are experiencing a medical emergency, dial 911.”

An emailed message to Bayhealth seeking information was not immediately returned.
