DOVER - Congratulations to Lion Bill Torbert, a 67 year member of the Dover Lions Club on being named a Melvin Jones Fellow in recognition of his many years of service in the Dover Club.

PCC Ralph Schieferstein and PDG Tony Lee presented the Fellowship to Lion Bill. The Melvin Jones Fellowship honors the Founder of Lions Clubs International and donations made for the Fellowship go to support the work of the Lions Clubs International Foundation, LCIF.

The Dover Lions Club welcomed 2 new members into the Club recently as well. Past District Governor Cheryl Jones, from the Laurel Delaware Lions Club, inducted Roma Konno, sponsored by Dr. Esosa Iriowen, and Ralph Taylor Jr, sponsored by Bruce Marvel.
