HOUSTON — An 85-year-old Magnolia woman died from injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday, Delaware State Police said.
The woman was driiving a Kia that did not remain stopped at a stop sign before being struck by a dump truck at the intersection of Milford-Harrington Highway and Broad Street, authorities said. The collision occurred at approximately 9:24 p.m.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Her name is being withheld until her family is notified, authorities said.
The driver of the dump truck, a 59-year-old Harrington man, was uninjured, police said.
The roadway was closed for approximately four and a half hours while the scene was investigated and cleared.
