Wor-Wic students inducted into Phi Theta Kappa

SALISBURY — Seventeen Wor-Wic Community College students participated in an induction ceremony for the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Advisors of the chapter include Dr. Dana Burnside, professor of communication studies, and Juley Harper, associate professor of English.

Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society for community college students. The Alpha Nu Omicron chapter was chartered at Wor-Wic in September of 1987.

Students from Wicomico County recently inducted into the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Wor-Wic Community College are Julianna Torres, Christin Hewett and Martin Bush of Hebron, Jean Hupke of Mardela Springs and Vanessa Virgil and Liz Hanes of Fruitland, Dominick Beck, Roberto Caceres, Janet McNabb, Robin Sampson and Aaron Niblett of Salisbury and Riley Taylor of Delmar.

Katie Rimel of Ocean City was recently inducted into the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Wor-Wic Community College.

Students from Somerset County recently inducted into the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Wor-Wic Community College are Devon Matthews of Eden and Houmei Moisan of Princess Anne.

Mustafa Kilicarslan of Delmar, Del., was recently inducted into the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Wor-Wic Community College.

Kordell Kelley-Rawl of Trappe was recently inducted into the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Wor-Wic Community College.
