Native American Day at Millsboro museum

MILLSBORO — The Nanticoke Indian Association, Inc. will present Native American Day from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4 at the Nanticoke Indian Museum.

The featured speaker is Drew Shuptar-Reyvis (Pekatawas MakataweU “Black Corn”). He holds a cum laude Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology and is a Maryland State Archivist - Algonkian Living Historian - Museum Consultant.

Admittance is free and the event will include museum tours, native traditional dancing and drumming, storytelling, vendors, Indian fry bread, Indian tacos, Nanticoke succotash, T-shirts, hats, books and other memorabilia.

No rain date if cancelled for inclement weather. Donations accepted onsite for the Nanticoke Indian Association, Inc.
