BLADES — A 25-year-old Blades man was arrested in connection with a shooting on Sunday, Delaware State Police said.
Police determined that Harold Dixon fired several shots into the ground outside a house on East Fifth Street while arguing with a female. A child was inside the house when the shooting occurred, authorities said.
There were no injuries, police said.
Mr. Dixon was later arrested and arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3. He was charged with possession offenses including firearm during the commission of a felony, firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony and firearm by a person prohibited (two counts), along with aggravated menacing and endangering the welfare of a child. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $107,000 cash bond.
